![]() It's a nice thing to have when you need nothing else and it can replace Rolling Guard as well as keep any kind of defense target alive.Īrcanes can make up for whatever you've ignored so far. Instead personally I'd recommend you try out Vazarin for the Void Dash damage immunity and healing. You need neither the energy from Zenurik nor the combo stuff from Naramon. The Focus School is completely up to you. Must-play-mods for Excalibur are the three Umbral Mods, Adaptation and Chromatic Blade. Alternatively I guess you could play anything you want for QoL like Enemie Radar. I haven't tested whether Steel Charge or Growing Power is better for your DPS but I got the feeling Growing Power is better. Personally I don't really like using his 2/slide+E and would prefer Magus Lockdown if I want CC so I could also use Narrow Minded but I guess that comes down to your playstyle. I've done absolutely none testing about the exact efficiency/strength balance tho, this is all brainstorming and doing math. However even with Dethcube I'm not sure you could compensate Blind Rage and since Exalted Blade is a one-time activation only anyway Energy Conversion gives decent strength with no negative. This becomes especially interesting since the status chance of Chromatic Blade scales with power strength. Alternatives would be the Adarza or Smeeta Kavat for their crit buffs. Instead you could utilize Dethcube's Simaris mod to gain tons of energy orbs which would allow you to build for much less efficiency. Since (from what I've read in the reddit recently) Gladiator mods do not effect Exalted Weapons anymore (RIP) there's no longer a reason to use Helios. Possible build (everything is interchangeable and this build would probably be best with Arcane Strike): Sacrificial Steel - Sacrificial Pressure - Organ Shatter - Healing Return - Condition Overload - Primed Fever Strike - 90% Cold - 90% HeatĮxcalibur (Umbra) Build + Companion/Focus School/Arcane choice ![]() The 60/60 mods have a rather little effect. The most obvious thing with Chromatic Blade is Condition Overload. This can be further boosted by using either the Adarza Kavat (much more consistent crit buff but worse buff), the Smeeta Kavat (no reliable buff but if it procs you deal orange crits) or Arcane Avenger. Sacrificial Steel with Sacrificial Pressure gives 275% CC so that's a 56% CC to double the damage dealt - or almost quadripled if you also use Organ Shatter (which you should if you play for crit). It feels unrewarding to play a weapon with 15% CC for crit, especially considering that you can't use Blood Rush or the Gladiator set. It's no burst heal, but I guess for burst heal you can still use Magus Elevate on your Operator. If you want to heal yourself with your Exalted Blade you'll have to use Healing Return. Lifestrike is therefore completely useless. They don't build it up and they do not interact with heavy attacks (I believe heavy attacks don't even produce a flying blade). His flying blades do not effect combo whatsoever. I guess as long as you use Chromatic Blade it doesn't matter what else you play these days.
